In 2020 we shared our plans to improve our equality and inclusion working practices and initiatives across our company. We acknowledge the need to come together as an organisation of people, to drive change and make a positive impact around improving racial equity.
We know that D&I is not a problem we are trying to solve but an opportunity we are going to embrace and gain from. True diversity brings together different ideas, different ways of thinking, and most importantly, our different lived experiences – all these produce outstanding results.
Since summer 2020, we have created ongoing self-development within our team that incorporates D&I for all. This has been achieved through education, conversation, and by enlisting an experienced and established trainer to provide internal diversity training and support for our whole staff team. Our goal is to embed D&I in everything we do to ensure that D&I is felt throughout the company, therefore we have formed an internal diversity & inclusion team to better understand where the challenges, touch points and gaps are so as to ensure that what we are doing both internally and externally is more inclusive.
We continue to seek invaluable advice and critique from artists, peers, industry executives and organisations.
In the last twelve months:
These actions are the start of our commitment to contribute to a more equal and inclusive drum & bass community.
